Andy Baker - Gossamer
Gossamer is a virtual kinetic sculpture that attempts to blend geometry and symmetry on one hand with fluid, organic forms on the other. It rewards the viewer’s concentration with a subtly evolving form and an evocative soundtrack by James Rampton and Alan Jackson.

Perdita Sinclair & Alan Jackson - Assorted Seas
Faking deep sea creatures with jelly sweets and sounds found in the kitchen. The work is about exploring inaccessible places during lock-down with the materials around you. As part of Assorted Seas we will run a community workshop facilitating people to make their own fake undersea adventures with found objects while learning about these crazy, intriguing life forms.

Deep Sea Discosphaera
Discosphaera aims to raise awareness about the importance of microscopic marine phytoplankton through visual and sensory experiences. Following ‘Swimming with phytoplankton in 3D’ at Kew, ‘Deep Sea Discosphaera’ illustrates the context of this hidden world in collaboration with The Egg’s 'Deep Sea' soundtrack and links to 3 Plankton Light Sculpture designs made for Micropia Museum in Amsterdam.

Maf'j Alvarez - Eva Quantica
Maf’j Alvarez imagines entering a surrealist painting in her virtual reality experience, a dreamlike bubble of lockdown Brighton as an open world to explore the various simultaneous dancing versions of Eve.

This event is for...
